 The guesthouse
is only a short distance from the main house. The Orlando-Mulford Retreat is a one-unit, single-bed facility where you are welcome to be as sociable or as private as you wish.

Room amenities include a separate entry, wireless Internet access, and access to gardens and outdoor seating areas. Bath facilities and kitchen and laundry access are currently shared in the main house.

 The aviary
(the screened area on the right) provides backgound noise for much of the day. The pathway beyond the jasmine arbor leads to a birdseed garden sitting area.

 The main house
(its back door is visible to the left) contains shared bath facilities, the kitchen, and a laundry area; the guesthouse is down the small path leading to the right.

 The pond
(which is currently undergoing renovations) offers background noise, draws a variety of wild birds, and supports some water-based plant life. Koi, catfish, and other small fishes provide something for your eyes to focus on (besides your laptop and pad of paper). Sorry, but no fishing is allowed! That doesn't mean you can't dangle your feet in the water, though . . .
